Northwest Film Forum
Two local filmmakers started this nonprofit in 1995 to provide resources for the region’s struggling film artists. Several expansions later, NWFF includes a hip little screening room that shows cult classics, foreign indie films, obligatory Bergman retrospectives, experimental shorts, and first films from Northwest filmmakers.
Tip: NWFF is a main venue for the Seattle International Film Festival (www.seattlefilm.com), which takes place every year between late May and mid June.
Admission: $8.50 adults; $6 seniors and children; $5 members; Monday screenings half price.
