Today, the couple’s contagious passion for all things old is still going strong; they sell anything and everything a historically inclined decorator might want: beds, rugs, mirrors, clocks, tables, ceramics, and more. Even if you’re not in the market for an etched 19th-century blown-glass hurricane lamp or an 1830s English slant-lid desk with exposed dovetails, just visit for a rare browse through the centuries-old building, or wander through the dogwoods and espalier of pear trees scattered around the store’s beautiful, secluded grounds.
